The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) www.abwa.org ©2026 ABWA LLC 2026 Virtual Spring Conference 5 From the Executive Director ELIZABETH JOHNSON, CAE Executive Director, ABWA Dear ABWA Members, Thank you for joining us for ABWA’s 2026 Spring Virtual Conference. While the Spring Conference evolved from the regional events once held across the country, its core mission remains the same: to bring members together to grow— strengthening ourselves, our professional skills, and our leagues. The content and topics you’ll experience over the next two days were shaped directly by you. Through surveys and conversations with our members, we identified the challenges you’re facing and the successes you’re eager to share. As a result, this conference delivers both inspiration and practical, actionable takeaways. Our Skills Labs, in particular, are designed to equip you with tools and ideas you can implement immediately. At the National Women’s Leadership Conference, we heard members say, “Our league could use help with this,” just as often as we heard, “Our league is doing a great job with that.” It became clear that we needed to create more intentional space for leagues to learn from one another. In ABWA, you are never alone, neither as a member nor as a league. We are here to support and elevate one another in every facet. That is the spirit of ABWA, and it is the culture that makes our organization so special. I hope you leave this conference feeling empowered, equipped, and connected. Enjoy the event!
