In this interactive skills-based workshop, participants will learn practical ways to apply AI to real business and marketing communication tasks such as email responses, newsletters, content planning, and workflow support. Through live demonstrations, guided exercises, and small-group discussion, attendees will build clarity and confidence without feeling overwhelmed or “behind.” Participants will leave with a clear understanding of where AI fits into their work and at least one practical process they can begin using immediately. KiKi L’Italien is a leadership speaker, strategist, and longtime community builder known for helping professionals navigate change without losing clarity, confidence, or their voice. For more than 16 years, KiKi led and evolved one of the association industry’s most trusted media communities, where her work focused on helping leaders make smart decisions in fast-changing environments. Today, she works with organizations and business professionals on communication, brand storytelling, and practical decision-making— especially when new tools and expectations arrive faster than clear guidance. KiKi’s approach to AI is grounded and pragmatic. Rather than focusing on hype or automation for its own sake, she helps people understand where AI fits into business and marketing communication—and where human judgment, standards, and voice still matter. Her sessions are known for turning complexity into usable processes that participants can apply immediately. Previously, KiKi created and hosted Association Chat, a community media brand acquired in 2024. She is also the host of the Things Go Sideways podcast. KiKi’s work has been recognized with multiple industry honors, including the ASAE Academy of Leaders Award, recognizing her leadership and trust-building across industries.
